If exim in cpanel gives an error similar to the following:
username@dom--ain R=valias_domain_file defer (-17): error in redirect data: domain missing or malformed in "username@"
edit the files
/etc/vdomainaliases/dom--ain.com
/etc/valiases/dom--ain.com
and remove the default entry in that file similar to this
*: dom--ain.com
Login to the clients cpanel, put back the redirect address in the default setting and then run the email queue in WHM, the the emails should be delivered normally.
