Cpanel recently introduced a new feature called 'Boxtrapper' which helps you fight against spammers and their emails.

First you will need to login to CPanel http://yourdomain.com/cpanel please use your domain name and not yourdomain.com. Example your website is called funnyfarm.com you would use http://funnyfarm.com/cpanel.

Once you are logged in scroll down the list of CPanel link and at the bottom click on the link Boxtrapper.

Once there you will see a list of the current emails you have setup on your domain. Click on the Manage link beside the email you wish to protect.

Next you will see Boxtrapper for email@domain.com (your domain and email you have added) under that clicking on Enable to Enable the Boxtrapper for that email address.

Under that you will see the following links. Configure Settings, Edit Confirmation Messages, Edit White/Black/Ignore List, Review Log and Review Queue.

First click on the Configure Settings setup and in the Email addresses going to this account (comma seperated list) box leave this as it is. Next under that How many days logs and messages in the queue should be kept this allowing you to keep a list of emails for how many days. Example 30 meaning 30days 10 meaning 10days. Depending on how long you would like to keep emails set it to that amount of days.

Next clicking back till you arrive at the initial setup for the Boxtrapper for the current email address.

Next clicking on the Edit Confirmation Messages link. What this allows you to do is edit the Verify, ReturnVerify and Blacklist messages that are sent to anyone who is not currently logged in the "Whitelist", "Blacklist" or "Ignored" lists which will be covered soon.

Clicking the edit button beside Verify will allow you to edit the Verify email that is sent out you are welcome to keep that as is or you can change this by entering your own text and clicking on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Next i will cover the "Edit White/Black/Ignore List" settings.
