New Servers have new features, clients may request upgrade without any cost.
Please be aware of the issues associated with a server move.
1. New server runs php in a jailed enviroment which cannot be turned off, but its not the same as safe mode, basically if your running .htaccess files with php directives in them, rename the .htaccess file to: php.ini
2. Sometimes email accounts become corrupted from move, if you have an email problem from move its from two reasons.
a. Corruption from move: Solution remove email account from cpanel on new server and renew.
b. Your ISP is caching the IP of the old server, Solution: wait up to 48 hours.
3. Mailing lists don't transfer, we can however copy them individually but would prefer if you had a mailing list to set that up on new server to remove an possibility of errors.
4. SSL certificates don't transfer and have to be setup by us again and you will need to have a new CRT generated by the SSL provider, if digitalhost has retailed the certificate to you this will be done for free.
Otherwise as your account resolves to the new server all files and databases should be 100% in place, if you have any issues please don't hesitate to contact us, we have full double backups of your account on the old server.
