Question: Why don't you offer unlimited email etc like other hosts?
Answer: Many good reasons for this policy,
1. Digitalhost does not wish to attract customers who wish to setup accounts for the purpose of becoming the next hotmail service.
2. Providing unlimited resources to just a few who abuse will be to the detrermint of all clients.
3. For normal hosting activities each plan is provided with plenty of resources to suit the cost, to explain futher each of our servers must provide speed and uptime for all clients, therefore we do not overload servers just to try and make a profit because of bad policy in allowing certain clients unlimited options. One client alone could overload a server with unlimited Subdomains.
The reseller and multiplans do allow such resources but are put on servers with a lower number of clients as the cost per plan is higher.
If you are on any of our hosting bronze, silver. gold or platinum plans and your find yourself needing a few more email accounts, subdomains or mysql databases please submit a support ticket and they will be applied to your account free of charge, the actual number provided is at the discretion of management.
